Bug Description

[needs-packaging] librecad

qcad is being replaced with librecad in Debian after squeeze. Edubuntu would like to include librecad in natty, so I'm uploading this to REVU.

URL: librcad.org
License: GPL2 and others
Notes: qcad is being removed from Debian (depends on qt3) and replaced with this package

QCAD 3.1 has been released as open source (GPLv3) since June 2013, maybe new QCAD 3.4.5 is better than current LibreCAD?
See bug #1194504 for more info about new QCAD 3.x (now 3.4.5)

Hello all,
This bug is a packaging request for librecad. If you'd like qcad, the best way is to file a request for package (RFP) for qcad against debian.

I was the debian maintainer for qcad, and think the new release is very interesting - I just don't have time at the moment to work on it.
