Bug Description

The server sends the router an internal reason why a connection was refused, but we can only access it in debug mode and we never actually debug a router live, and even if we did, the chance the situation happens during that time is near 0.

It should be kept in the db and available in the statistics.

I agree with a variation on this.
Having time linked to the server statistics for each node is a plus.
Many nodes are installed in an hostile environment. Being able to get the basic stats about the state of the link with the server can be helpfull

What do you mean by time linked to the statistics? What time? There is already datetimes linked to each connection and to its expiration.

As for the actual status of a link, it is available through the manage nodes screen. Do you mean to have statistics about the status of a router, like a weekly linear graph of the link status? If so, we do not have yet anything like this, we only know the status of a node right now, we do not keep history. Is that what you would like?

Yes Geneviève,

Having an history about the status of router(s).
If some place complain about the fact that the router seem to hang or vanish out of sight of computer, having this history can help to pinpoint problems.
The history in the router itself is useless the minute it is reset.
It seem that logs are keep somewhere in a folder on the server with Wifidog, but nobody yet found them, it is rumors for now.

Have a good day!
