[Realtek ALC660-VD] upgrade from Maverick to Natty causes loss of sound

Bug Description

I upgraded from Maverick to Natty. All volume controls are not muted. Tried to play music via banshee, and web and nothing can be heard but can be seen to be playing.

Are you actually using ~/.asoundrc*? If not, please move them out of
the way, logout, and login.

I did move them out of the way and rebooted and still no sound.

Does this command result in sound being played? Please test both speakers and headphones, if possible.

pasuspender -- speaker-test -D plughw:Intel -c 2 -t sine
