Missing sample etc configs for glance from ppa (ppa:glance-core/trunk)

Hmm, perhaps they aren't in the packaging manifest. I'll check into it. In the meantime, you can check out /etc/glance.conf.sample in the source distribution: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~glance-core/glance/cactus-trunk/view/head:/etc/glance.conf.sample

Looks like the MANIFEST has the etc/ directory grafted, so the sample config file should be included in the PPA package. I'll bug Soren to see if he knows what's up.

Soren needs to add the config files to the PPA build packaging setup.

Alternatively, setup.py needs to install the sample config.

Soren, could you explain what you mean above? What should I add to setup.py to have the /etc files installed? Sorry if that's a silly question :(

Kevin, could you please verify this bug again? I'm seeing that the PPA packages do indeed include the /etc sample configs for both the glance.conf and an example logging.conf. Thanks!

Can confirm that there is a config file now @ /etc/glance/glance.conf

add-apt-repository ppa:glance-core/trunk
apt-get update
apt-get install glance
