Thanks for the patch mate but in I have a small doubt: please explain as to what way this change is important so to be included in ubuntu?

Change documented in changelog:

- debian/control:
  + - add pciutils-dev | libpci-dev to b-d to make it build.

There isnt in debdiff.

Would you like to update this merge for 0.4.2-8? Also, the added build depends are not needed since the Debian build works fine (at least on amd64 for me).

Hello mate, i think it good idea to use gksu because users can access DDC/CI device rahter than executing via normal user

I'll removing it, as per Micahg said, without this change building is fine.

Hi Mahyuddin! Im not sure, but if the package now uses gksu, it should not depend on gksu package?

You right, gddccontrol doesn't depend on gksu. I've submitted new debdiff with adding gksu to depends
