Bug Description

Binary package hint: casper

So xresprobe in dpkg-reconfigure (from casper-bottom/20xconfig) always fails and if X can't figure out the monitor you get the default resolution.

adding
mount -n -o bind /dev /root/dev
works for me.

WORKAROUND : Use Ubuntu 5.04 since this is only broken in 5.10 - 7.nn !

Actually 6.06 seems to work fine!
