Bug Description
Here's how I'd like the wifi installation to happen:
If you only have a wifi card, or select a wifi card as the
network device during installation:
1. You are presented with a list of networks, by essid, as
determined by "iwlist scanning".
- there should also be an "other" option, which asks for
an explicit essid, to cover the case where the essid is
not broadcast by your base station.
2. If that network requires a WEP key, as per "iwlist scanning",
then ask for it, otherwise try to use that network without
any key if it is an open network.

With the original Apple AirPort card, "iwlist scanning" reports
"eth1 Interface doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported"
This of course, is BS, because OS X does it all the time, so it must be support
for that just hasn't been added to the linux 'airport' driver yet.
