Bug Description

After arriving in Dublin, indicator-datetime didn't prompt to change timezone. I confirmed the xml returned from http://geoip.ubuntu.com/lookup looks good and running ubuntu-geoip-provider manually displays the correct location. But the indicator doesn't seem to get a signal that the timezone has changed.

Hello Ken, or anyone else affected,

Accepted indicator-datetime into oneiric-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

The issue here is as an update is that it seems to bring back a duplication of the orig. 'home' location if using "Time in other Locations" option
Bug 833337 (which didn't initially fix solely on update

The difference between 0.3.1-0ubuntu1 & 0.3.1-0ubuntu1.1 is I can't find anyway to fix this
I guess it's possible if this package was in the orig install this may not happen

So, Doug, are you suggesting that this failed verification, or that this bug was fixed by the update, but caused a regression of bug 833337?
