Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
I'd like to try the i810 modesetting branch for experimentation in feisty fawn (I'm aware that both feisty and that driver aren't stable yet). But unfortunately there is no way (short of some --force-* options) to install both xserver-

I don't have this exact problem.
If I try to install the -modesetting driver, It tries to uninstall the xserver- xorg-driver- all package, as it depends on the i810 driver, and the i810-modesetting removes it. However, it doesn't remove the xorg package, so I can have the ubuntu-desktop with the i810-modesetting.
However, this is still a bug, as it shouldn't try to remove the xserver- xorg-video- all metapackage.
