Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
gnome-power-manager refuses to start.
This is on feisty.
gnome-power-manager --no-daemon
This program cannot start until you start the dbus session service.
ps aux|grep dbus show that dbus is running
nm-applet and NetworkManager are completely working
