Could you please attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance.

Without the log files, I'm afraid I cannot do anything with this bug. Please feel free to reopen it if you're the original reporter and can provide more information. Otherwise, your bug may well be fixed in Ubuntu 6.06.1.
