Bug Description
unity 4.8.0-0ubuntu1
TEST CASE:
1. Open the Dash by Super key or by clicking the Ubuntu icon.
2. search for 'empathy' you will see empathy is found
3. Now press enter to start it
WHAT HAPPENS:
Nothing happens as the search spinner keeps on rotating.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN:
The search spinner should stop and pressing the Return(Enter) key should launch the first result.

- compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in

- Dash performance issues with 'Active Blur' enabled (lp: #824890)
- compiz crashed with SIGABRT in raise() when setting background
to full color (lp: #829049)
- Dragging from dash to launcher still doesn't work (lp: #824833)
- .desktops dragged on to unity launcher will not be added to

- Ubuntu Start launcher item should always start the dash with
