Bug Description

After upgrading to Oneiric, calling mail-notification resulted in errors due to missing default values in accordance with the attached screenshot. I was able to make it work by calling 'gconf-editor /apps/mail-notification' and assigning empty values to those five keys.

I tried the workaround that you suggest but I still get the message
** (mail-notification:9268): WARNING **: cannot find default value of configuration key "/apps/mail-notification/messages-considered-as-read"
the others are gone but this one I can't get rid off no matter what I do.

This is what my ~/.gconf/apps/mail-notification/%gconf.xml looks like:

A mail-notification build that includes my proposed fix is available at https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/misc
It would be great if you installed it and let us know if it fixes this bug for you.
