Bug Description
When trying to open smb share thunar claims that object type is null and ask to choose tool to open that. If I pick File manager and I uncheck that it is default action it works. Otherwise I am unable to open network share.

Upstream fixed this regression in the XFCE 4.8 release branch, per the linked bugzilla ticket.
Consider updating Thunar for the Oneiric release. Samba breakage in Xubuntu will affect many people.
