Installing Icon sets from synaptic, midway through process, crashed. Feisty w/ updates as of 2/14/07.

Thanks for your bug report. The crash looks like a memory corruption. Could you try to get a valgrind log for it? (you can follow the instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind for that)

Will do, rather late when I checked this. But, believe you me, I will be
pounding on synaptic. I will be running with Valgrind as much as possible.

Reinstalled packages, no crash. I have included the valgrind logs just for good measure.

thank you for your work on that. the log shows some problems without details on them though, could you try to get a log with synaptic-dbgsym installed?

I have tried to reproduce this. It happens on and off. I also tried
installing the dbgsym package for synaptic, but there currently seems to be
a versioning mismatch. I will continue to try and reproduce this bug.
