Bug Description

Binary package hint: notification-daemon

I have my notification area in the bottom left of my screen.
The problem is that the notifications popups aren't shown correctly, sometimes they are completely distorted (happens with the "Connected to the wireless network" popup of NetworkManager), the rest of the time the rendering is correct but not good (means not like with the default settings and the popup in the top right corner)

I will try to send a screenshot of this NetworkManager thing the next time I see it (it doesn't seem to appear all the time ...)

On this screenshot you can see what a normal notification looks like here.
It appears quite correct but if you look carefully at the bottom border of it, there are some little problems.

I think the bug is confirmed by the screenshot shown on the dup.
It seems to be related by how the messages are shown when the panel is at the bottom instead of the top.

I'm afraid I won't be of much help on this one anymore as I'm now using Gutsy and no longer have my gnome-panel at the bottom of the screen.

Still present in current Gutsy. Apparently affects notifications only on bottom panel *and* occurs only from time to time, depending on the required dimensions of the notification popup. Attaching example screenshot.
