Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-cherrypy

Reported upstream at http://www.cherrypy.org/ticket/658

Basically, using any sort of dynamic module (in my case, Cheetah templates) cause CherryPy to reload constantly, rendering it unusable. It's a simple one-line fix.

I slightly underestimated the difficulty, but on the plus side, there's now a working patch.

Here's a .debdiff of the above patch, which I hopefully got right.

  * Modify Maintainer field.
  * debian/patches/03_autoreloader_fix.dpatch
    - Fixed the auto-reloader if modules with an invalid __file__ attribute
      are loaded, using code from CherryPy 3. (LP: #85233)
