Thank you for your bug. From what icon do you speak?

The Printing (System-Config-Printers 0.7.51) shows an icon which is a [X] (I guess it means no icon found). I am using the Human icon set. When I start the Printing Config, the status bar also shows a generic icon.

Do you have a /usr/share/icons/Human/48x48/devices/gnome-dev-printer.png icon installed? That's the icon that is shipped by the theme and used for that item and that works on my feisty desktop

The icon is installed and has rw-r-r permissions. Should I check anything
else?

The icon /usr/share/icons/Human/48x48/devices/gnome-dev-printer.png is
correctly picked up for Hardware -> Printing but not for System ->
Printing.

oh, you are using system-config-printer and not gnome-cups-manager, update the package information to reflect that. The /usr/share/applications/redhat-system-config-printer.desktop desktop file uses "Icon=cupsprinter.png" and doesn't ship that icon
