Bug Description

To work correctly with gnome3 ffmpegthumbnailer needs a new configuration file in the folder
/usr/share/thumbnailers/

please add this file

Thanks for your bug report.

I don't use GNOME, but I'll forward the file upstream (if he wants to include it, more people would benefit from that).

I can't unsubscribe ubuntu-reviewers, but I'd rather not have any delta between ubuntu and debian for this package, so please don't upload.

Anyone installing ffmpegthumbnailer in gnome3 will definitely need that file, otherwise there will be no video thumbnails, which is the whole point of installing this package.

FYI, it's included in upstream 2.0.8 version if you enable --enable-thumbnailer (see 2.0.8 changelog and http://code.google.com/p/ffmpegthumbnailer/issues/detail?id=96)

  * New upstream release (fixes build issue with recent ffmpeg).

    - pass --enable-thumbnailer to configure to register ffmpegthumbnailer

  * debian/ffmpegthumbnailer.install: ship the thumbnailer file.
