Bug Description

When creating a launcher on the panel I put in the following info:

Type=Application
Name=stv
Command=/home/john/steeky/stvlinux0.2.sh

I've selected the icon using the 'browse icons' dialog

When I click ok on the 'create launcher' panel it gives the following error message:

Failed to close file '/home/john/.gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers/stvlinux0.2.sh.desktop.KVSQNT': fclose() failed: Success

The launcher icon does not appear on the panel.

Thanks for your bug report. Which version of Ubuntu and the gnome-panel do you use?

I can't reproduce the behaviour at all. Can you attach the launcher from ~/.gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers/ to the bug report?
