Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

This is similar to Bug #78538, but for Epiphany.

Out of the box, Epiphany handles links and such among different screens better than Firefox does (e.g., if I have Evolution on one screen and click a link, and Epiphany is running on another X screen, it will just open a browser window over there, as opposed to giving an error message), however, it seems impossible to let Epiphany run on all supported X screens, just the one it was originally started on.

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you use xinerama? What prevents you to use other screens for epiphany?

The bug is present in Edgy and Feisty.

I do not use Xinerama (there is only one X11 display and one X11 screen
when using Xinerama). I have two screens, :0.0 and :0.1, in dual head
mode.

Epiphany prevents me from using it on both :0.0 and :0.1. If I start it
on :0.0, and I attempt to start it on :0.1, it will merely open another
window on :0.0. This is better than Firefox (which says "No, I don't do
that, thankyouverymuch"), but still less than desirable and not quite
intuitive.
