Bug Description
I use self a compiled version, revision 6021.
OS: OpenSuse 10.4
When you try to mark a message sometimes no check symbol is displayed, or it does not vanish. To be more precise the check symbol is not changed, whenever you click on the high lighted message. But the state of the message is changed. When you click on another message, the correct state of "old" message is shown. So the check mark switch on 2 messages at the same time.

Yes, the checkbox state will sometimes not update when you click it. Like bug 672098 it is triggered if you click on the already selected item. I also noticed that moving the cursor over the table headings or any of the buttons, the checkboxes will be redrawn with the correct status.
I wonder if this might be somehow connected to bug 691928?
