Thank you for your bug report. Is conky also autostarted by another mechanism (a file in ~/config/autostart folder or in /etc/xdg/autostart) ?

No.
Instead conky in / etc / xdg / lxsession / Lubuntu / autostart You can write any program or programs, and they will all be executed 2 times.
It looks like the file autostart / etc / xdg / lxsession / Lubuntu / autostart somewhere executed 2 times, but I do not know where.

IMPORTANT:

The actual problem is that / etc / xdg / lxsession / Lubuntu / autostart RUNS TWICE regardless of whether you add commands in ~/.config/autostart. It is not a user added commands problem.

11.10 in VBox will open XScreensaver twice.

I actually did a test replacing @screensaver by @leafpad in / etc / xdg / lxsession / Lubuntu / autostart and 2 instances of leafpad opened at startup: I.E. the xdg autostart seems to be running twice!

It also happened after I upgraded from my own system to 11.10.

I experience similar issues on quantal with gnome-fallback. I have yakuake and camera-monitor in my autostart, and for half of the boots, the get started twice on login. camera-monitor then rants and quits, while the two yakuake processes seem to block each other and have to be killed manually.
