I would also like a test like this against swift.

Currently, it doesn't look like there is a way to interact with swift in tempest, are there any plans to implement this? Would writing a test for this need to include a swift client for tempest as well?

I don't think it reasonable to have a tempest test that requires such a large amount of storage. What we should have is an object upload/download test that uses the manifest mechanism that is required for large objects.
