Can't update a hidden module

Bug Description

In the trunk, lately a lot of modules have been set to the category "Hidden" and now they don't appear in the module list anymore.
As a consequence, you can't update the anymore unless you restart the server with -u.

Hello Lionel Sausin ,

I have checked this issue with latest trunk , Its improvement in
Trunk we have set here a domain ['!', ('category_id.parent_id','child_of','Hidden')]
 , If you want to show hidden module then Update module list that display all
 module hidden and dependant.

I have attached video for your reference.

so would you please check it and correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the workaround, I can confirm that it works. Actually I thought the list after "update module list" was left without a domain by mistake.
It feels awkward however - wouldn't it be possible to add an default filter in the module search view instead of a fixed domain ?

The workaround mentioned by Jignesh is not a bug, it's simply because it opens the modules list with a different, unfiltered action.

This issue has been fixed temporarily as of revision 3885 revid: <email address hidden>, by making this an optional filter in the search view.

I'm calling this a temporary fix because a better way to hide technical modules and a better-thought classification for Apps/Extra/Technical modules should still be done before releasing 6.1.
