rabbit creates new PAM session

The attached debdiff fixes the problem for me: it uses start-stop-daemon, and avoid the script in /usr/sbin that uses su to change ID.

The attachment "rabbitmq-server_2.6.1-1ubuntu4.debdiff" of this bug report has been identified as being a patch in the form of a debdiff. The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff. In the event that this is in fact not a patch you can resolve this situation by removing the tag 'patch' from the bug report and editing the attachment so that it is not flagged as a patch. The new version 2.7 pushed in bug #922600 lost the patch applied by this bug, introducing the problem again.

I am seeing what I believe is this bug. I am unable to shutdown without first executing "sudo service rabbitmq-server stop" to shut down the rabbitmq server. Unless I do this, instead of shutting down I am just returned to the lightdm login screen over and over.

This happened both in 11.10 and in 12.04 beta. I am using rabbitmq-server package version 2.7.1-0ubuntu1.

This fix has now been restored in the latest upload to precise.
