xterm is missing a .desktop file to list the program in the Applications menu.

Do we actually need Yet Another Terminal Icon? I was thinking that if whoever uses this wants it, he can use one of the 5 or so icons he would probably have already installed.

For standard dimensions the freedesktop.org icon theme specification specify that at least a 48x48 icon shall be made available (for this and other interesting info have a look at the freedesktop site: http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/).

I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors, as xterm is in main. Once a new debdiff is created, including both the .desktop file and icon, ubuntu-main-sponsors should be subscribed to sponsor the upload. Also, a bug should only be In-Progress when it is also assigned - if you are working on this, please assign yourself and set to In-Progress.

It's already fixed by new upstream on Gutsy (226-1). Btw, the debdiff for Feisty is done.

Thank you for your effort. The addition of a .desktop file does not meet the requirements for a stable release update, so this will not be fixed in feisty.
