Bug Description

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

When running, I get "Your hardware does not need any restricted drivers."

I think I can note the specific model number of modem (what Windows says it is) if desired.

Does this modem work with Ubuntu at all? How do you enable it?

It works in the last few versions of Ubuntu, albeit at a limited speed (unregistered shareware), using the driver available here:

If there was a kernel module for this modem, it would be automatically detected by r-m. However, there isn't, and since the available driver is neither free nor available for Feisty, there is little point in changing this into a kernel wishlist bug. Thank you for your report!
