Also, please if this crash is reproducible describe the steps that lead to it. This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

now that this is getting more and more duplicates, a testcase would be fortunate.

Adobe PDF reader, Flash, mplayer, Ubuntu forum menu, faster fox, ad block plus, colorful tab, download status bar

Themes, etc
Glossy P (metacity) + Scaled Black Mactru (beryl)

As I said this happens mainly under Beryl. With beryl disabled, which I did today, it crashed only once. I'm on KDE, so I can't really say what GTK extension I'm using. as far as plugins:
My firefox is practically clean as far as addons/extensions go, the only plugins I have are flash and mplayer. Alos on beryl I was using the AIGLX engine. hope this helps :
