nvidia-glx broken - kernel module in wrong place

Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20-12-generic

The problem is as follows

The nvidia-glx driver is looking for its kernel module at /lib/modules/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko

However linux-restriced-modules provides the kernel module as /lib/linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20-12-generic/nvidia/nvidia.mod.o

This means that the nvidia-glx driver cannot run as the kernel module is missing.
