MyUnity Display Panel Icon option does not work as expected

Bug Description
I enabled the Desktop "Display Panel Icon option" - however no icons next to the desktop right click menu or Panel was visible.
I was expecting the "org.gsettings set org.gnome.
If it isnt this option - can we somehow make it clearer what this option actually does?
