Bug Description
I am using an Sony Vaio TX2 Laptop. After installation of Ubuntu Gnome shows the wrong resolution. The correct one (1366x768) is saved in xorg.conf and it is used but the virtual size is set to 1368x768 so the monitor moves two pixel every time you reach one monitor end.
You can fix this easily through choosing the resolution 1366x768 in settings which works fine but out of the box would be better.
It has something to do with the Gnome resolution component since Kubuntu hasn't this problem out of the box and xorg.conf settings are correct.

Even if I change resolution with "screen resolution" gdm uses still 1368x768 as vsize.
