Bug Description

Binary package hint: ghc6

Summary speaks for itself really. There is a manpage for ghc itself but this doesn't cover runghc.

You have made changes to the debian/rules file, and that isn't shown on your changelog, also you should add (Closes LP: #95985) to it

Hum, why don't you call the manpage debian/runghc.1 in the first place?

well it doesn't show in the debdiff but clean in debian/rules erases *.1 in debian/ and that would erase the manpage. so that's why we have the rename from runghc.man to runghc.1 after clean.

Sorry, bug spam necessary because of bug 176085.

This bug has a patch attached, which needs review and sponsoring.

At least for me the additional comment delayed review, as it reset the "Recently Changed" date. I don't think a forums-style "bump" is the best way to work around bug 176085. Anyway, looking now.

Thanks for the patch. It mostly looks good, but the use of "mv debian/runghc.man debian/runghc.1" makes the package fail to build twice in a row (which would be another bug). Would you mind changing that to "cp debian/runghc.man debian/runghc.1"? I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors pending this adjustment. Please be sure to resubscribe with the new patch to get review & upload.
