Highlighting a text in Konqueror makes lower parts of letters ('y', 'g' etc.) invisible

Bug Description

Binary package hint: konqueror

In (K)Ubuntu edgy, using Konqueror version 3.5.6 (using kubuntu packages), opening the url http://derstandard.at/?url=/?id=2818611 and selecting some text containing letters like 'y', 'g', 'p' etc makes their lower part invisible. May be something to do with font and line spacing. It is always reproducible. To reproduce:

1. open url http://derstandard.at/?url=/?id=2818611 in Konqueror.
2. select some text having letters like 'y', 'g' 'p' etc.
3. the lower parts of these letters will become invisible

saurav, are you using custom font sizes? That can often cause problems.

I am using 12 as medium and minimum font sizes as these are required
for getting acceptable font sizes on most of the websites. But why
should setting custome font sizes cause this problem?
