Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg-dev
Just like Windows 98 and the former Ubuntu versions I had tried to use, Feisty still doesn't automatically support my 3D Blaster Savage 4, which came with and older (about 2002) Athlon Computer. Because I am using this computer as an office computer, it really annoyes me that there is no way to set the rate above 60Hz, so basically I can't work for more than an hour on this Computer, although all the tasks I need it for, could be done under Ubuntu.
I tried to find out more in different forums, but there seems to be a lot of different Savage Graphic chips and then I am not that much of a Pro to fix it myself,
LG,
Andreas

Please attach your /var/log/ Xorg.0. log, /etc/X11/xorg.conf and the output of 'sudo lspci -vvnn',
There is a change the savage driver works with it. You could try editing the xorg.conf and change the Driver in "Device" section to "savage".
