Bug Description
Binary package hint: mythtv
I just noticed when removing all the mythtv related packages on my system for a clean MythTV install that removing the packages does not prompt to remove the account. I realize there is a chance that there could be data in that account that a user possibly doesn't want removed, but they should be given the option. Ubuntu shouldn't just be leaving accounts around after packages are removed. It would seem that uninstalling at least the master backend meta package could prompt the user to remove the account. They could always opt out and leave the account.

I agree that the account should be cleaned out, but only after mythtv-common
is purged.
