DayFolder is a friend of those who like a clean desktop. With a simple click in the indicator applet menu, it will move all files on the desktop into a specific daily folder created in a configurable location for easy access to your files later.

Here’s what it does:

- Takes the files from your desktop and moves them to a directory named with the day’s date in your specified “DayFolder” directory.
- Do this from the application indicator in the panel of the desktop.
- Change the directory your daily DayFolder is created.
- Set specific destinations for single file types (for example, you can have all your .png files be moved to your Pictures folder).
