dcpsymbiont is the software that allows one to connect DCP phones made by AT&T/Lucent/Avaya to the Yate telephony engine

dcpsymbiont allows one to connect DCP digital phones (like 8410D or 8434DX) made by AT&T/Lucent/Avaya to
the Yate telephony engine. (Well, sort of, because this project is in the early alpha stage, and hardware setup
is not for the faint-hearted).

DCP phones are cheap and have many nice features but they run with Definity switch only.
dcpsymbiont lets you play with DCP phones without the Definity switch.

Also this project has some libraries that can be usefull for other Yate-related things -
for example the C library that abstracts Yate external module interface and allows one to use it
without digging into low-level yate external module protocol.
