SATA systems don't automount windows partitions like an ATA system does

Bug Description

I've noticed that on two SATA laptops the EVMS did not automount my windows partitions as the two laptops i've got ATA on did and put nice icons on the desktop for these partitions.

Please don't mark bugs "private" when they're pretty clearly not private in any way (no private data here, no security issues, etc, etc). It means that no one will triage the bug report, except for the select few (very few) people who can view private bugs.

EVMS does not automount any devices, though debian-installer sets up fstab to automatically mount partitions. Please attach /var/log/installer/syslog and /etc/fstab to this bug report from the system where you see this problem.

Could you also provide us with /var/log/installer/partman? Sorry we didn't ask you for this earlier.

Did you select any partitioning options that involved resizing your Windows partitions?

(I suspect that this might be the known bug whereby resizing a partition doesn't copy over the method or acting_filesystem files to the new partman device directory.)
