Publication Manager, django-pubman or just pubman, is a simple Content Management System for Django. It is a work in progress. UPDATE: Ok, so I've realised I've made every amateurish software development error in putting this thing together. Nevertheless, it's been a blast and it is successfully powering quackdown.info.
Publication Manager (django-pubman) aims to be a simple content management system under Django. It has three further design aims:
* After installation, the developer will have a working website in Django’s development environment, complete with all the standard features expected of a website such as comments, tracking, feeds, user-friendly editing capabilities, a working style sheet and working web pages (rendered with templates in Django’s template language).
* The original working website that it installs will be dependent solely on free or open-source third-party projects.
* It will be particularly useful for small media organisations, including newspapers and news websites.
