Drqueue is a distributed rendering queue. It provides job dispatching and load balancing services for render farms, but is capable of distributing any other type of shell task.
DrQueue is a tool to distribute shell-based tasks such as rendering images and animations. DrQueue works under Linux, FreeBSD, Irix and Mac OS X. It is distributed under GPL and is composed by three main tools: master, slave and drqman.
The master acts as the server where all jobs and information about the computers are stored. The slaves are the programs in charge of executing the scripts.
drqman is the GUI used to control jobs and computers. You can reprioritize jobs, stop them, restart specific frames, change frames to be rendered and so.
DrQueue provides both Python and Ruby bindings making it fully scriptable.
