emp7 is a simple, SQL based, CPU bound database benchmark.
emp7 uses an SQL script to perform a query against millions of record giving an easy to measure performance metric.
emp7 goal is to have an easy to use, fast, simple but consistent database benchmark.
emp7 can be successfully used to close predict performance for CPU intensive database applications.
emp7 scripts are available for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, DB2, Informix, JDBC (generic).
Contribution is needed to port emp7 to other RDBMS.
