Bugs targeted: 1 Fix Released
Blueprints targeted: None

The 2.2 series of ESyS-Particle represents the latest stable releases up to July 2013. No further changes, except critical changes, will be made for this series.

2.1 series Current Stable Release
Latest releases: esys-particle-2.1
Bugs targeted: None
Blueprints targeted: 1 Implemented

The ESyS-Particle 2.1 series represents the current stable release as of April 2011 and is recommended for all new users.

2.0 series Current Stable Release
Bugs targeted: None
Blueprints targeted: None

The 2.0 series of ESyS-Particle was the stable release series from Dec 2008 until Mar 2011. This was the first deployment of ESyS-Particle via Launchpad however a previous series '1.0' was released by the Australian Computational Earth Systems Simulator Major National Research Facility in 2006, via their website (now out of commission).

gengeo-win series Active Development
Bugs targeted: None
Blueprints targeted: None

This series encapsulates development of a Windows version of the libDEMGenGeo library (also known as gengeo). Gengeo is an add-on python module for ESyS-Particle that provides the capacity to generate complex initial spherical particle geometries for DEM simulations. The library generates complex packings of spherical particles within prescribed volumes then outputs the geometry to an ASCII file that is easily imported into ESyS-Particle or other DEM software.

Development and maintenance of the Windows version of gengeo is led by SoilVision Systems Ltd. in collaboration with the esys-p-dev development team.

gengeo series Active Development
Latest releases: gengeo-1.4, gengeo-1.3, gengeo-1.2
Bugs targeted: None
Blueprints targeted: None

GenGeo is a library of tools for creating complex particle geometries for use in ESyS-Particle simulations. GenGeo is a standalone application with a Python API that creates geometry files suitable for importing into ESyS-Particle simulations. The functionality of GenGeo far exceeds the in-simulation geometry creation utilities provided by ESyS-Particle itself.

esys-particle-win series Active Development
Bugs targeted: None
Blueprints targeted: None

This series agglomerates work to develop and support a Windows compatible version of ESyS-Particle. Development of the windows version is led and supported by SoilVision Systems Ltd in collaboration with other ESyS-Particle developers.

esys-foam-dem series Active Development
