This project is my attempt to develop a tool for solving PDEs that combines the advantages of finite elements method
and finite differences method.
The main strength of FEM is arguably their flexibility when it comes to domains with complex shapes. There are many tools that generate meshes for theese domains. I would like to use these meshes as the grid on which FD will be implemented. A long term goal is to solve viscoelastic convection with this new approach.
