6WIND plugin for Fuel provides the functionality to install 6WIND Virtual Accelerator for Mirantis OpenStack as a network backend using Fuel web UI in a user-friendly manner.
It is a DPDK based NFVi virtual bridge and virtual router including support of IPsec and firewalling.
6WIND Virtual Accelerator is a flexible software product that offloads the Linux kernel by leveraging a mix of both hardware and software accelerators for netwokring. Since it is an offload of Linux based hypervisor, it allows to keep unmodified your Linux based SDN solutions for your datacenters and your NFVi.
