GiantRobot is a template and rules based notification engine, written in PHP to assist in the marketing of events such as, for example, Hackspaces and Barcamps.

This project currently only provides a series of PHP plugins (which are not totally defined!) for updating Microblogging services (Twitter/StatusNet), setting IRC topics, creating upcoming.org events, publishing to ATOM blogs (e.g. habari) and sending e-mails. Other APIs and back-ends should be requested as features using the bugs page. Front end and engine is currently being designed.
