This project allows applications written in Python, to easily submit status reports from said application, to a database stored either on the local machine, or more likely a database stored elsewhere.

Currently, mySQL will be targeted, but it would be simple to add support to other databases. Also, as the data is intended to be logged to a standardised database, other languages can send logs simply using SQL.

This project is intended to write to the database. Reported will be dealt with later, either with another project, or by connecting to the database with something like LibreOffice base or Access or Reportico
