it also can work in any other Desktop Environments as a tray icon.

simply install the application by running the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ipt-dev/ppa && sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-prayer-times

or download the debian package from any of these PPAs :
