Release notes
Indicator Stickynotes 0.5.0 brings some new features and fixes some old bugs.
In particular, the user interface sees significant changes. The shadow feature has been dropped to improve reliability and a new monochromatic "flat" icon set to complement the aesthetics of the new interface. Light or dark icons are chosen automatically based on the background color. Other minor tweaks to the interface should fix some nagging problems.
The stability of the application has improved. Issues with unicode encoding should be fixed and corrupted data files are now handled more gracefully (as opposed to crashing). The code to recover a corrupted data file was also used to implement an import/export feature.
Users should note that the import feature doesn't simply copy notes, but it "merges" them. Notes in the imported file that are already stickynotes will be updated rather than duplicated.
