Ispess is a system for monitoring servers designed to be modular.
It's goal is to monitor different parameters and provide reactions such as emailing alerts, all through the use of plugins.

Ispees is on an early stage and is part of a project for the University of Avignon in France. (http://www.iup.univ-avignon.fr/)
